Use LoadSignal in Claude and ChatGPT
Last updated October 28, 2026
Ask your AI app about your freight in plain words: which loads are late, where load 4521 is, what exceptions are open for one customer, who is free on Thursday. It answers from your LoadSignal account and links each load so you can act on it here.
What it does
- Reads loads, stops, ETAs, the last recorded position and its age, exceptions, the fleet overview and drivers' logged time off.
- Lists the automated messages waiting for your approval.
- Looks up driver, carrier and staff contacts, if your account is allowed to see them.
- Drafts a delay email to the customer. The draft waits in the load's Messages tab until you approve it.
It does not send messages, text drivers, dispatch, change a load or delete anything.
Before you start
An administrator turns on AI apps once for your company in LoadSignal under Integrations → AI apps. Dispatchers, operations managers and administrators with access to loads can then connect. The connector address is:
https://getloadsignal.com/api/mcp
Claude
In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste the address above and press Connect. Sign in to LoadSignal, check the account and company shown, and press Approve.
ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps, turn on developer mode under Advanced, then Create an app with the address above and OAuth sign-in. Sign in to LoadSignal and press Approve.
Claude Code and others
In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http loadsignal https://getloadsignal.com/api/mcp, then /mcp to sign in. Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth works the same way.
Your data
The connection reads only your company's data, with your permissions. What you ask about goes to the AI app you connected, under your agreement with its provider. Each company has a daily limit on requests. See AI apps you connect in the privacy policy.
Disconnect
Remove the connector in your AI app, or ask an administrator to disconnect it under Integrations → AI apps, which stops it at once. Turning AI apps off there stops every connected app. Questions: support.
